The Irregular at Magic High School Novel's Two New Series in The Works



As reported, the ultimate 32nd quantity of Tsutomu Sato's sci-fi motion fantasy mild novel sequence Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei / The Irregular at Magic Excessive College is ready to be launched in Japan on September 10, 2020. However the saga will proceed. The novel's official Twitter introduced on July 24 that two sequels of the novel are already within the works.


In response to the tweet, the primary sequel is tentatively entitled Zoku Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Magian Firm (Sequel・The Irregular at Magic Excessive College Magian Firm), which focuses on the protagonist Tatsuya Shiba and the others after their commencement from First Excessive magic highschool. Will probably be out there within the fall of 2020.  


The second is tentatively entitled Shin・Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Cygnus no Otome-tachi (New・The Irregular at Magic Excessive College Maidens of Cygnus), which is ready at First Excessive magic highschool after Tatsuya's commencement and focuses on two ladies named Arisa and Matsurika who’ve a connection to the Jumonji household. Its scheduled publishing date is the winter of 2021.

In the meantime, in commemoration of the conclusion of the sequence, a two-part brief novel Cygnus no Otome-tachi, which was a prequel to the second sequel, was posted on the novel creator's official web site on July 10 and 17.

Since July 2011, the novel sequence has launched 35 volumes from KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko imprint: 31 volumes from its important sequence, one brief story assortment, and three from its spin-off sequence "Plan to Assassinate Tatsuya Shiba." The entire sequence had printed greater than 15 million copies in complete by November 2019.


It was tailored into a 26-episode TV anime in 2014 and a function movie The Irregular at Magic Excessive College The Film: The Woman Who Calls the Stars in 2016, each have been animated by Eight-Bit. The TV anime's second season based mostly on the novel's "Customer Arc" was initially set to premiere in July 2020, however has been delayed to October 2020 as a result of COVID-19 outbreak.
