Studio Ghibli has debuted its first visible and a sequence of stills for Aya and the Witch, its very first CG film!
Miyazaki Gorou, the son of Studio Ghibli co-founder Miyazaki Hayao, is directing the brand new characteristic. It’s tailored from fantasy novel Earwig and the Witch, written by the late Diana Wynne Jones, whose Howl’s Shifting Fort impressed a much-loved Ghibli movie of the identical title.
The story follows a younger woman who grows up with out realizing that she is the daughter of a witch. In the future, she is introduced again to an odd home to dwell with a imply witch.
The movie was set to premiere on the now canceled Cannes Movie Pageant and is now destined for broadcast on NHK this winter.
Because the film’s director, Miyazaki commented that he hopes the film will give encouragement to youngsters and cheer up adults, two teams who may typically discover themselves at odds in opposition to the backdrop of Japan’s ageing inhabitants.
