Ken Wakui's Tokyo Revengers Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation in 2021



A TV anime adaptation of Ken Wakui’s Tokyo 卍 Revengers manga is confirmed to be within the works for a premiere in 2021. As with the manga’s English version and the forthcoming live-action movie, the title of the anime is Tokyo Revengers, excluding 卍 (swastika) from the unique title. The anime’s official web site and Twitter have opened with a teaser visible drawn by the manga creator, posting an announcement PV that includes the manga’s well-known scenes. 


The Tokyo 卍 Revengers manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Journal since 2017 and to this point launched 17 tankobon volumes in Japan, printing greater than 4 million copies. Its live-action movie adaptation venture was introduced in February 2020 and is ready to be launched in Japan on October 9, 2020.

Watching the information, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from approach again in center faculty, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The one girlfriend he ever had was simply killed by a villainous group generally known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy house with skinny partitions, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an fool. Plus, he’s an entire and complete virgin … On the peak of his rock-bottom life, he out of the blue time-leaps twelve years again to his center faculty days!! To avoid wasting Hinata, and alter the life he spent operating away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi should goal for the highest of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!!
