The pachinko recreation producer Sankyo updated its website online on Tuesday so that it no longer lists the anime studio Satelight as its non-consolidated subsidiary. Satelight’s website online moreover updated to note that the two companies ended their capital tie-up this month.
Satelight turned a Sankyo Group agency in August 2006, the equivalent month that it moved its headquarters from Sapporo, Hokkaido to Tokyo. Sankyo then launched pachinko recreation machines and slot machines for a variety of Satelight anime duties, along with Aquarion, Macross Frontier, Bodacious Home Pirates, and Symphogear.
One different anime studio, TMS Leisure, turned a Sega Group agency in 1992, after which turned a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings (the holding agency formed by the 2004 merger of recreation maker Sega and slot/pachinko recreation producer Sammy) in 2005. Kadokawa, Sammy, and Extraordinarily Super Footage established the anime studio ENGI in April 2018.
